Privacy policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

In short: El Tablero keeps only what's needed to organize the congregation's assignments. It shows no ads, doesn't sell or share data, and doesn't track what each person does. It never stores confidential information such as the reports kept by the Secretary. Those are stored only on a local device he controls.

Who is responsible

El Tablero is a personal, independent and free project, made by one person. For any question about this policy or about your data, write to me at me@marcelinomolina.com.

Each congregation decides what information it records and who manages it. Its administrators (usually the elders) add the publishers, create their accounts and organize the lists.

What data El Tablero keeps

  • About each publisher: name, whether a brother or a sister, whether serving as an elder or ministerial servant, field service group, the tasks they're qualified for, and whether they're available for assignments.
  • Assignments: meeting parts, support duties, cart and cleaning shifts, and the history of past assignments.
  • Internal notes: comments administrators can write about a publisher to help organize assignments. Only administrators see them.
  • Accounts: the name each person signs in with, an internal identifier and their password, which is stored encrypted. We don't ask for an email address or phone number.
  • Messages: what is written in the congregation's channels.
  • Notifications: an identifier for the phone so it can receive notifications, if the person allows them.
  • Waiting list: if someone signs up on this site, their name, email, phone (optional), congregation, city and country, how they serve, the congregation's approximate size and their comments.

What never leaves the Secretary's device

The field service reports, publisher record cards, attendance and summaries kept by the Secretary are stored only on the device the congregation designated for him. They aren't sent to El Tablero's servers. If that device has its own backups turned on (for example, iCloud), that data is included in them, under its owner's account.

What it's used for

Only for the app to work: showing the lists, suggesting participants, sending notifications when there's a new assignment, allowing messages among the friends and generating printable sheets. Waiting list information is used only to contact you about the app.

The data isn't used for advertising, isn't sold and isn't shared with anyone for their own purposes.

Who can see it

  • Only people with an account in the congregation can see its lists.
  • Each message channel is visible only to those it belongs to.
  • Only administrators can edit the lists, see internal notes and manage accounts.

Services El Tablero uses

To work, El Tablero relies on these providers, which process data only to provide their service:

  • Supabase: the database and accounts.
  • Vercel: hosting for this site and the web version.
  • Expo, Apple and Google: delivering notifications to phones and app updates.

Information travels encrypted between the app and the servers.

Children

El Tablero isn't directed at children and has no way of collecting users' age. If a congregation records publishers who are minors, it does so under the responsibility of its administrators and only with the information needed for their assignments.

How long it's kept

As long as the congregation uses El Tablero. If a congregation stops using it, it can export its information and ask me to delete it completely. I delete waiting list information when it's no longer needed or when you ask.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or to have your account removed. The quickest way is to ask an administrator of your congregation; you can also write to me at me@marcelinomolina.com and I'll reply as soon as I can.

Changes to this policy

If I change anything important, I'll post it here with the date it was updated.
